The Tech Thingy

Case study

Finexta InfoTech

A marketing site that reads from the systems they already run.

Corporate site for a fintech products company, rendered server-side from their live API.

Finexta InfoTech project

What they needed.

Finexta already had systems holding their products, services, case studies, leadership and job openings. What they did not have was a public site that reflected any of it. The obvious answer, a CMS, would have created a second copy of that content and a permanent reconciliation problem, where the careers page and the actual hiring system slowly stop agreeing with each other.

What we did.

We built the site as a read layer over their existing API rather than a system of record. Every dynamic page is a server component that fetches from Finexta's own endpoints at request time, with a cached auth token, so content stays true to source with nothing to sync. SEO was treated as part of the build rather than a later pass: a declarative sitemap in YAML covering both static routes and every dynamic collection, and shared robots, author and Googlebot directives applied across every page.

Everything that shipped.

  • Fifteen routes: products, services, case studies, blogs, leadership, careers, ISO certification and contact
  • Five dynamic collections rendered from Finexta's live API, so nothing is duplicated into a CMS
  • Server-side rendering throughout, with a token cache to avoid re-authenticating on every request
  • Declarative sitemap in YAML covering static paths and every dynamic collection, with per-path changefreq and priority
  • Shared SEO defaults: authors, creator, publisher, robots and Googlebot max-image-preview and max-snippet
  • Dedicated ISO certification page, because in financial software the certification is part of the sale
  • Individual role pages under careers, each independently indexable
  • AGENTS.md in the repository so the client can extend the site with an AI coding assistant
